Margie Sims has been involved in helping people attain health and well-being since she became an Acupuncture Physician in Florida in 1998.
During that time, she became aware of the power of hypnosis and began to integrate it into her practice. In the past several years, hypnosis has become the focus of her work in helping people build the lives they have dreamed of. After becoming a Certified Hypnotist through the NationalGuild of Hypnotists, she continued (and continues) her studies by becoming a Certified HypnoCoachTM.
Prior to studying Oriental Medicine and Hypnosis, Margie worked in the corporate world, but she had bigger dreams. She opened and ran a successful consulting company in the late 80s and 90s until she became an acupuncturist. She was named one of the top 25 business women by a south Florida magazine, and Businesswoman of the Year by the Business and Professional Women’s Association of Plantation, FL.
Margie has long been involved in community work, including participating in 8 Susan G. Komen 3 Day Breast Cancer walks, several Habitat for Humanity ventures, and is currently involved in St. Ann’s Church CareerQuest, an organization that assists people from the community to find jobs.
Margie studied at Nova Southeastern University, and at the Southeast Institute for Oriental Medicine in South Florida. She also attended Harvard University in Cambridge, Ma.
She is the mother of two children and grandmother of two.
